The latest Jurgen Klopp news, rumours, opinions and updates about the former Liverpool manager from Rousing The Kop. Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers in charge at Anfield in October 2015 and steered the Reds’ ship until June 2024, after announcing his premature exit in January 2024.
Anfield chiefs sought Klopp’s arrival on Merseyside after firing Rodgers with the club only 10th in the Premier League table. The German was out of work at the time after taking a brief spell out of the game upon leaving Borussia Dortmund as a two-time Bundesliga-winning manager.
Klopp would turn Liverpool’s fortunes around and more, with the tactician taking the Reds to their first top-flight title in 30 years. He secured the Reds’ first Premier League title in 2019/20, plus the 18/19 Champions League, the 21/22 FA Cup and the EFL Cup in 21/22 and also 23/24.
